No problem. I took it as you intended. In threads I've begun, most mention MATE to establish my environment.Roughly 10% of those might be said to be "about MATE". But the underlying question in most of those questions is about the OS but the DE strongly influences what was observed.
Does that make sense. I don't see a strong need for another mailing list. YMMV
