Yes, as long as it can be changed.

Tu configure it before starting it?

To have it at hand and be able to start it occasionally?

To use auxiliary programs that come in the same package?

To prepare a filesystem for another host in a chroot?

You sure lack imagination.

(Fortunately, systemd brought a solution for the fourth situation, since it
does not start services in chroots.)
