So let me add a couple:
* Design with no regard to repairability. In fact, hostility toward
repairability.
* Lessening the use of interchangeable parts.
* Giving design leadership to a guy who said Linux "isn't a real
operating system".
But here's the thing, Doug. Even if it were nothing more than your
first two points, it would be a travesty.
