Install gcc 4.3.3 if it isn't already and call it explicitly.  The usual
incantations call up the default version of gcc which, in your case,
seems to be 4.3.4.

Sooner or later, they'll appear.  I hope.  OTOH, like Boyd, I find I
rarely, if ever, need 3D acceleration.  Consequently, I normally use the
"nv" driver.
