Yes usb host controllers are there. E.g., I can plug in my SD card and
read it. Also:
$ /sbin/lsmod | grep hci
ehci_hcd 30220 0
uhci_hcd 20880 0
usbcore 113744 6
usb_storage,libusual,usblp,ehci_hcd,uhci_hcd

Thanks. It's been working fine, and even with my old Lenny in another
partition. So it is a pure software (configuration) issue.
