I'm stumped, too.

$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb
dpkg: /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb not found.

$ apt-file search /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb
$

$ dir /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb
