OK, log priority=0 probably means "don't report anything" which means
nothing will notice when something is hotplugged: not good. However,
now you're on the right track. See what the __lowest__ log level (go
with names not numbers for consistancy with syslog.conf) will work.
Then tweak syslog.conf so that only higher level messages go to the
console.
