Openoffice file takes a long time to open

 I tried this to no avail.
Then, I brought the file to SUSE, and did the same thing there, using vi, saved it as text
and brought it back to Etch, and it opened in less than a second.
All very mysterious.
Anyway, problem solved in the end.
