The latest package in unstable (1.0-3) does not seem to have the patch available in the package in the experimental repository (an older version). This patch allows setting the variable LIBXCB_SLOPPY_LOCK and allows program to overcome the following error xcb_xlib.c:50: xcb_xlib_unlock: Assertion `c->xlib.lock' failed. Are there any plans of incorporating this patch (workaround) in the unstable version ? -- Waqar A. Malik
