I do that so I _won't_ automatically connect to an AP. I have 2 wifi
cards and use them both with Kismet. Normally I am not looking to
connect. If I want to I just have to do ifup eth1 and it will connect
then.
Sorry for the 2 posts, I was called away and wanted to get the answer
