You are correct.  The last line of output after plugging in the drive
reads

	Attached scsi generic sg0 type 0

but earlier in the output is a line

	sdb:<7>usb-storage: queuecommand called
	sdb1


I assumed /dev/sg0 as this works to attach my digital camera and
download images.  After reading your comment I tried /dev/sdb1 and was
able to mount the drive and read the file it contained.
