Re: schroot help needed

hi,

I've only done this setting up a chroot to run 32bit applications on a
64bit system but it should be equally applicable to your situation.
this is exactly my situation. so far i was using permanent bindmounts in the /etc/fstab file, as described in the amd64 howto

Please note that if you are using schroot there are chances you can
avoid binding directories and copying or hard linking files. Check
schroot manpage and modify /etc/schroot/setup.d/10mount to match your
 needs.
this is what i would like to do - there should be some possibility to let schroot manage bind mounting and do it only when it is needed. i read the manpages (schroot, schroot-setup, schroot.conf), but i couldn't figure out how to setup this. the 10mount file in /etc/schroot/exec.d/ should somehow do this, but i don't know how to pass the directories/devices and their respective mountpoints in chroot to the 10mount script... maybe it suffices to modify it somehow - i couldn't figure out how - and that was the subject behind my last post.

google wasn't of much help in this respect as well :(

thanks for any hints/pointers... best regards,
