My wife was *easily* trained not to fear the black text screen, and
I put startx in her .bashrc (with a little wrapper so that it would
only run from the console, not an xterm window).

Certainly your GF can be similarly trained.

I'd there's a higher probability of creating new geeks if existing
geeks reproduce.

Is "common sense" really valid?
For example, it is "common sense" to white-power racists that
whites are superior to blacks, and that those with brown skins
are mud people.
However, that "common sense" is obviously wrong.
