I don't think they depend directly on inetd. It seems netbase depends
on openbsd-inetd, and a whole lot of packages depend on netbase:

Description: Basic TCP/IP networking system
 This package provides the necessary infrastructure for basic TCP/IP based networking.

But I wonder why netbase depends on inetd.
