Well, there are a few things that you should know. First, Debian is a
community-based or community-supported (or whatever) distro. For
example, see http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=community&db=*
(definition 2a, specifically). Second, no one in this forum is paid to
support you. Thirdly, please feel free to find yourself another distro
where the free support team will welcome your abusive tone with open
arms. If you are in need of some quick turn around help, consider
hiring a Debian consultant. There are plenty of such people/companies
listed on the Debian website (http://www.debian.org/consultants/) and
many also frequent this list (reading some of the archives will give a
good idea of who they are).
That said, I think your problem is twofold:
1. You do not mention that you have setup proper DNS entries or
/etc/hosts entries for these domain names you are using. If you have
not, no matter how hard yo utry, you will not be able to view the pages.
2. You mention creating the virtual host configuration, but you don't
mention whether or not you restarted Apache. I know this is simple, but
it is also easy to overlook.
Now, a few recommendations:
* Please provide error logs or something like that. Maybe the contents
of /var/log/apache2/{access,error}.log. Not the whole thing, just the
output that shows the requests and how Apache is answering them.
* Consider reading the documentation available from ASF, especially the
tutorial on CGI: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/en/
* Try asking your question on the debian-isp list, where there are many
people in the ISP business or at least administering larger
installations. Many of those people are also experienced Apache admins
* Consider a new line of work. Your signature block from your earlier
messages indicates that your title is "IT consultant." Judging by your
company's web page, you are not a newbie to IT matters. However, you
appear to be easily frustrated to the point of becoming combative when
people don't jump to solve your problem. I would submit to you that you
may find you lead a happier life if you choose a field without so much
uncharted territory. I will leave it as an exercise to the interested
reader to find a suitable career field that meets that definition.
