I did it as root w/o thinking.. since this is not a multi-user machine..
Maybe it would be nice if whatever it does is done as root the result
would be a system-wide reconfig .. on the contrary if you do it under
your own id only your personal font environment is affected..? No idea..
You put the fonts in /usr/share/fonts/truetype/win98 for all users if
you have root access or put it in ~/.fonts and then do
Doesn't "dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig" also need root access to run?
