IceWM doesn't have desktop icons. Instead, you can use one of the
numerous tools invented for just this task.
<http://www.icewm.org/FAQ/IceWM-FAQ-9.html#ss9.6> mentions some of
them. I tried idesk once and it looks pretty neat. The downside is that
you have to edit text files to put the icons there, so it's probably
not what many people expect. On the other hand, computer illiterate
users won't accidentally delete their icons.
