User issue: Cannot find Thunderbird inbox.  You recommend installing an
alternative distribution as if it will take care of this issue.

User issue: Cannot start windowing environment.  Again, not sure that
installing an alternative distribution is the best idea, when two lines
in the shell will fix it.
