Signed. ext2/3 are not DOS based file systems. That you even *found* the old e2defrag is a wonder in it's own right. Forget about it, continue living and let linux do it's thing. *IF* you feel that a defrag *HAS* to be done, which I very much doubt, then dump the FS and reload it. debian FS != DOS FS And it is better that way :) -- Bill
