`last -i` confusion

Hi all,

I just looked at `last -i` and `last` and found,

mira:/var/log# last -i
adamm    :0           148.145.253.183  Mon May  2 08:54   still logged in    

mira:/var/log# last
adamm    :0                            Mon May  2 08:54   still logged in    

Where is the IP address coming from? The log in was of course local.
I'm using the debian kernel in Sid, 2.6.11
