If some one can lead me > to activate that feachure Hi Mohannad, I too have proceeses that do not respond to ctrl-c but do respond to ctrl-z and this puts them in suspend mode whereupon I can then issue kill %1 (or whatever number it is) or kill -9 %1 to kill them.
