No, like I wrote before (sigh) there are no 2.6.7 packages in SID and
Sarge. They have been replaced by kernel 2.6.8.

Then your lists are outdated, or you have some old CD/DVD/local archive
in your sources.list. Use apt-cache policy to check where the package
comes from.

No, simply install kernel 2.6.8, or the meta packages for the 2.6 kernel
images and headers to always get the latest versions:

apt-get install kernel-image-2.6-386 kernel-headers-2.6-386

Reboot with the new kernel, and compile the driver.
