I had a similar problem when I had too
many PCI cards in a system with a SATA/150 promise controller. However, have you tried letting it sit for
10-30 minutes? After 5-10 minutes in my case it actually
booted even though it sat at LI for a while. Give it a try. Other than that, it could be a few things,
you may need LBA32 on the drive, or linear addressing etc.. From: Tony Uceda Velez
