udev kills bootlog

Since I installed udev bootlogging has stopped. From what I can read of the
screen as it whizzes past, bootlogd seems to be complaining of a bad file
descriptor for /dev/ttyzf, or some equally bizarre tty device. Lord knows why
it's trying to access that tty.

It's hard to tell what's actually happening, considering I can't read the log.
Any ideas?

Peace,
Brendon
