It won't help but beware that bootlogd is unsupported upstream (will be
replaced but when ?), buggy , insecure, disabled by default in debian. 
(well upstream is the debian maintainer :)

Then a workaround would be to MAKEDEV tty , it will created the needed
device file in a static way.
