It's been a while since I tried it, but I think with most M$ Office (or
similar) programs, you have to know of a good printer that can do
postscript. Then you install the driver for that printer from your
Windows cd and tell Publisher to print to file - using that printer. 

Seems like a royal pain, after learning Linux... but such is the way of
life in a "user-friendly" world.
