I'm not totally au fait with Intel's development path at the moment - AMD have been offering much more bang for the buck for some time now so that's where my attention has been directed. But I have some commercial CFD apps which came in a tarball of versions for several different platforms, including both Linux/ia32 and Linux/ia64. I don't see how they could have written the ia64 version if there weren't any ia64 processors to run it on, and I don't think it's very likely that they're simply using "ia64" as a synonym for "amd64". -- Pigeon Be kind to pigeons Get my GPG key here: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x21C61F7F
