This isn't much help, but just FYI, I used to run two EtherExpress Pro/10 ISA cards in a 486DX/50 with Coyote Linux as a home DSL router. I remember using the Intel floppy program to set interrupts and I/O ports on the cards, swapping them out one-by-one, and setting those IRQs and I/O's in Coyote's config program. It's been several years, though. All I can tell you at the moment is that it is possible to get it working.

If you can't get it working any other way, let me know; there's a small chance I might be able to find the Coyote boot floppy and grab the config files for you to look at.
