I'm in this thread late, and my experience is with pppconfig then pon in
Woody and I have used kppp on a Fedora 2 box. So in this context I may be
talking out of my backside, but I can't imagine why anyone would want to use
kppp instead of pppconfig then connect with pon on a Debian system.
