Re: disaster with LILO, Debian Linux, Windows, and booting



Thanks all.

What I'm getting from this is that the best way to fix this is to get 
another (large) drive and put linux root as the first partition. Then I can 
have
/dev/hda1 = windows boot
/dev/hdc1 = linux boot
Then I can copy what's currently on /dev/hdc (just data) to the new drive's 
later partitions.
