This issue has already received a
great deal of attention, but I've been unable to come up with any firm
details about it: I understand that Debian will likely be moving to x.org soon, but it's not clear when. Anybody know details? Also, debian packages of the x.org server are already available from the ubuntu repository. What is the likelihood that these packages might make it into the main debian repositories (i.e. so that x.org gets into debian faster). There are likely main policy issues about this, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks. Ross Laird |
