Yes, I will look into that. Thank you for your suggestion. The only
thing I changed though was the device identifier (/dev/de6 ->
/dev/sda6). I did try ading auto, no difference.
I just thought of something, if I load the scsi support for SATA as a
module, would the module loading occur after the mount attempt?

Oh, and thank you to the gentleman who responded directly to my
posting. I do not have a problem reading the list, so please reply to
the list only. If nothing else your reply might have valuable to the
