Re: Mozilla Update Questions

Not sure what the status is of printing from Mozilla,
but I know it's horribly broken.

I thought I should point something out to you
regarding thunderbird, though. In .7.1, they changed
the profile directory. You'll find that, previously,
you had a ~/.mozilla-thunderbird/default.xlf
directory. This has been replaced by just
~/.mozilla-thunderbird/default. To fix/reclaim your
settings, all you need to do is copy everything from
the old directory to the new directory. Then, you'll
notice that prefs.js (your original) was saved as
prefs.bak. Simply change the .bak to .js to overwrite
the new one (first be sure to back up the new one, in
case something breaks horribly!). This is what did it
for me, and now I can enjoy .7.1 and still have all my
settings and old mail, etc.

Hope this helps.

p.s. -- This should go without saying, of course, but
I may be wrong on some of this information, as you are
using a PPC and I'm on x86, so be sure to a complete
backup of all of your thunderbird directory before
trying this.
