yup... i agree about the troll question ... but i'll bite ...

my impression .. asterisk more tailored as an (pbx) answering machine ... 

other apps is more for voips
	- depends if you want to use just your phone
	- depends if you want to use your whole pc as your phone

	- depends on the other end you are calling
	- depends if you are calling another phone or another pc

the answer ... "depends"
