MG - media gateway
MGC - media gateway controller
SIP server

Small telcos use it for specialty apps. Individuals use it for home PBX
(private branch exchange). 

* takes over the machine with some configurations. Best to use a 1Ghz+ CPU 
with .5GB RAM.

Works 100% with Debian.
