I'm just wondering how well having keyboards only on the desktop would fare
from the usability standpoint. Your students would essentially have to be
blind-typing their answers with no visual feedback. As an alternate you
might look into something like the Alphasmart Dana Wireless
<http://www.alphasmart.com/> which has a builtin screen. kThe cost of buying
3 dozen of these things might just be a showstopper, though.
