Uhm, do you mean dedicated server, or do you play it on debian?? for
dedicated server it's <CTRL-C>, well at least that'S the way I close it :-)

Also what you can do is, start your script like this,

./q3dedosp1v1.sh &

and you won't even see the console, to stop the server simply do a

ps -ef | grep ./q3dedosp1v1.sh

and a kill XXX (XXX = Process ID of ./q3dedsp1v1.sh)
