If you read my post carefully, you might have noticed, that the
sarge-installer failed miserably on this wide-spread, 2-years+ notebook.
Send a few bugs reports, got a few suggestions, trickled out.
Now it's the almost never failing knoppix harddisk install that did the
trick; with a dist-upgrade to Testing.
Thanks for Fedora, sick of RH after more than 4 years and gradually being
locked out of RHN. But that's another story.
