When you have to add a domain to the smarthost list, you should make a 
point of e-mailing the admins of that domain to let them know that they 
are causing trouble, why you route your own mail, what harm it has caused 
you to be blocked, that they are punishing the innocent with the guilty, 
etc.  It's important to be polite and to suggest alternatives such as 
using SpamCop's blocking list instead.  If enough people make reasonable 
complaints, they will consider changing their policy.
