I've never had a problem with my USB modules and suspending, but in case
you do have that problem you can just put in a few modprobe -r lines in
your apm suspend scripts. (Somewhere around /etc/apmd. Sorry I don't
have my laptop handy so I can't tell you exact directories to check.)
