This is the crux of the problem.  The MySQL client libraries have been
re-licensed under the GPL as of version 4.  Now GPL-incompatible works,
including all proprietary software systems will have to purchase a
license from MySQL AB.  There is a fork of the previous LGPL library,
which continues to be licensed under the LGPL in the libmysqlclient10
package in sid, but it seems to only support version 3 of MySQL.
