Russ, I quite agree, and that was my intended point. Didn't realize I
was sending my reply to the list, and so was more willing to concede
to his possible insistance on formatting messages. What I meant was
that IF he felt he HAD to do it, then...

I've never used Windows software, but gather Eudoria is preferable to
most other Windows options. In a Linux context, I suppose pine or mutt
would be ideal, although I personally use rmail/emacs despite the
format in which it stores mail messages. I don't care for any MUA I
can't run from a console if I choose, and that narrows the list down
considerably.
