I was under the impression that it wasn't something you could calculate
directly from just the number of entries, anyway. The Debian unstable
archive is going to take more cache space than Joe Bloggs'
single-package repository. Using an estimation of how much unstable
takes isn't going to help, since that estimate will get out of date:
that's how we got into this mess in the first place.
