Printer set/blowup
I got an Apollo P-2600 printer that works normally not too bad for what I use it.Since I am too stupid to go any other way for setting it up I use kprinter for my printing needs.
It's a parallel printer that works with the hpjis driver.When I set it up and try to print the test page it pulls a paper halfway in and stops.When I stop the process the head does a real quick move to the left and obviously doesn't really stop at the end - at least that would explain the loud noise.
Since I don't want to wreck it with further test it would be good to know if there is be some trouble with the hpijs driver in unstable.
Any other advice would also be highly appreciated.
BTW - the same setup works with my gentoo partition.
