I've already done that. I was hoping for more realistic WWII action
than the original Wolfenstein 3-D, but was horribly dissapointed with
the less realistic weapons later in the game and the overblown occult
demon bullshit.

Before anybody suggests America's Army, I'm not going to go give the
.mil folks my contact info again[1]. I just finally got the recruiters
to stop spamming my snail mail and calling me in the middle of the day
when I'm trying to sleep[2], both of which at a frequency and persistance
that if it were any civilian pulling the same stunt would find
themselves would probably find themselves on the wrong end of various
harassment and stalking charges. Apparently "I'm not interested,
please put me on your do not call lists" is a phrase that is
incomprehendable to a recruiter. I had to swallow my pride, claim I'm
gay and offer to take the recruiter clubbing before they got the point
that I'm really not interested no matter how much they annoy me.

[1] I have no idea how they got it the first time. First person
shooters are fun on the computer, but in real life, when you die, you
die. I have great respect for our soldiers, though, and can't wait to
see them back on our own soil. Just don't have the same feeling
towards the recruiters.

[2] I work nights as a security screener for a research hospital. I
easily have the largest desk in the building, have a great view of the
city out my lobby windows, it slows down pretty nicely a few hours
into my shift and I've got a Knoppix box.
