You need to figure out why pstoraster and rastertoprinter are failing.
The cups docs may have a listing of exit codes.  It may be simpler to
set 'LogLevel debug' in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, restart cups, try again,
and sift through the extra information in the error log.
