It happens sometimes, no matter what kind of product we're talking
about.  After all, you hear recalls about defective food before it
goes out, with batch numbers to identify the recalled packages with.
Unfortunately, product recalls for defective CDs don't happen, or if
they do, the word certainly isn't getting out.
