[ot] pine smtp authentication
Hello.
Sorry for being off-topic, but I have a problem with pine. I want to send
mail to a server which requires smtp authentication. I have set the
smtp-server config option to something like this:
smtp.myserver.de/user=[me]
However on actually sending a message pine never asks me for a password,
but fails. How shall this work? Where takes pine the password from?
btw; I use the debian package from
http://src.braincells.com/debian/woody/pine/.
Tanks in advance.
Burkhard
