Somehow, printing didn't get set up when I installed lpd. I need a quick and dirty way to get my OOffice stuff printing so I can get some work done--I'll convert to CUPS later (I've never used it, so I'm not familiar with it...) Having used Debian for about 3 days, I am starting to miss SuSE's yast (NOT yast2...which is why I'm switching in the first place...). BTW, I did install/try printtool, but my printer port is not getting detected... Thanx again.
