You probably want kernel-package too, and all the packages that it
suggests.  Then "man make-kpkg".

Start off with the configuration from /boot/config-* (i.e. copy it into
the base of the kernel source tree as .config).  That's the
configuration from the stack Debian kernel.  Then adjust as needed.
